 2011 Scion Xb
I am new here, but I thought i would share any info i can. I am involved in the Scion Battle of the builds, and if you have never heard of it, basically, Scion put out a contest for all branches of the military to come up with a military themed 2011 Scion xB. The designs were submitted and voted on, the top three designs were picked and those three teams build what they designed. They are given a 2011 scion xB, and 15000 to build it. I am part of one of those teams and currently building our Scion. We have to be finished by October 4th.
I owned a 2006 xB, now I have a 2011 xB! I love the car! And thanks to the contest, I am VERY familiar with this car! So i have hopes and plans to commence tweaking mine.

It is supposed to be a ship with a giant squid holding onto the front, and a 2010 xB template was used in the drawing. We also decided to use the passenger side headlight as the eye of the squid.

One last quick post for now, so that everyone knows, because i found out the hard way. Regardless of what people may tell you, 2010 headlights are different from the 2011, they will not fit. Also body kits, even if it is one that replaces the entire front end, and the rear, there are differences. The headlights of a 2011 drop down further, and the rear bumper has diffferent points where it bolts on from the 2010, plus where the rear brake lights are you will need to do some rework because the kits don't flare out correctly to fit the 2011. So, all in all, a 2010 kit can fit the 2011 with some work, but just know what you are getting in to. The lip kits, don't fit exact either.
I hope this helps someone! please feel free to ask any questions!

 Military Car
That military car you did is great, I love the vinyl on it, and from the start it's looking great. In which ways are you going to customize it, I have a feeling you are going to throw a body kit, some nice rims, and you should definately add some color to the exterior. Im planning on throwing a greddy exhaust onto my xB, not only for sound but for the little bit boost of HP. A cold air would also be nice.

Just wondering if you have done any major body changes, like the body kit. I know that they come plain white and need re-finishing and also mounting to the car. I have always wanted a body kit which will make my ride an one and only ride on the streets . I will attach a pic of one I would love to rock, and install if I ever get it.

I was wondering if you prefer 1st gen scions, vs. second gen scions? I mean there are many differences such as:
First gen:
-cube look
-avg. 35 mpg
-classic style, and cheaper
Second Gen:
-rounded edges
-avg around 25 mpg
-bigger engine, so little more expensive.
Overall, I would definately choose the first gen. Thats why i got it!

Found a really great way to save a lot of money on good, quality neon. Found: http://www.ledunderbody.com/
This website has good quality neon, with very affordable prices. I am definately debating on purchase of one.
